International Day Summer Camps in Europe
Are you a worldschooling family looking for hubs around Europe, a digital nomad family who needs some time to work without distractions? Or maybe you’re simply parents who want to introduce their kids to other cultures and allow them to make friends from other countries? A summer camp in Europe can be a perfect opportunity for you.
Many families are under the impression that their kids need to be teens to attend and that the only options are overnight and at least a week-long camp. This isn’t true!
All over Europe, you can find international summer day camps either entirely in English or bilingual with English-speaking staff. The minimum age varies per camp, but some even take kids as young as 3 years olds, since the kids come home in the afternoon – basically, it’s like going to school, but instead, they’re having fun at camp.
Depending on the camp, they can either be profiled and focus on specific activities, take place entirely outdoors, or even teach a language. There are so many opportunities and this article will be updated as I keep finding more camps (I’ve updated the list for the summer of 2026!)
You don’t need to be a resident of the country or even be from Europe, you can absolutely do it on a tourist visa while staying at the AirBnB.
International Summer Day Camps in Europe:

English-Speaking Camps in the Netherlands
Dutch speak English very well, and there are plenty of expats and international schools providing an abundance of camps.
Tarragon Nature Camp (Amsterdam) – Outdoor camp for 4-12-year-olds focused on a very international community. Teachers speak English, Dutch, Spanish, and French.
Little Makers (Amsterdam) – Art camp for kids 3-9 years old in English, but also offering help in Dutch and Spanish.
Big Ben International (Wassenar + Hague) – Internationally and culturally focused camp with daily field trips for kids 4-12 years old, exclusively in English.
Summer Camp (Leiden) – General English immersive camp for kids 4-10 years old.
International Day Summer Camps in Austria
Danube Camp (Vienna) – Mostly STEM-emphasized camp for 4-14 year olds.
International Music School (Vienna) – Entirely English-speaking musical camp for 6-14 year olds.
Amadeus Camps (Vienna) – Option for mostly outdoor day camp 5-12-year-olds and boarding for 12-16 in English and German.
Vic Sports Center (Vienna) – Internationally focused sports & crafts camp for ages 4-13.
International Day Summer Camps in France
France is tricky when it comes to summer camps, because most kids use municipal camps, so as a result, the camps aren’t needed outside of international schools or are offered as courses: 1-3h sessions during the holidays, depending on the activity.
Please note that I only shared the ones that aren’t ridiculously priced. There are many more in Paris, but they cost 700-1100 a week for a day camp, which is ridiculous.
Energy Kids Paris (Paris) – Sports & language camp for kids 3-14 years old. Counselors speak English & French.
Forest International School (Paris) – Outdoor camps for kids 2-12 years old, including transport.
Ebihs (Annecy) – Bilingual multi-activity camp with field trips for kids 3-10. The Chinese language option is also offered. I teach at the school and the camp is run by my wonderful friends, so I can surely recommend it as a reliable option.
Pari-Grandir (Paris) – Different centers across Paris for kids 3-10 years old.
La Rochelle Nautique (La Rochelle) – Sailing camp for kids 4-12, insanely affordable for what it offers.
The Garden Academy (Paris) – Aimed for smaller kids, fully English immersive play-based camps for 3-9 years old.
ISN English and Sport Camp (Nice) – Camp in French and English for kids 4-16 years old.
Guides (Chamonix) – Unique camp opportunity because you can sign up per day, not per week. Offers activities (rock climbing, hiking, acro) and groups for 4-10 year olds.
International Summer Camps in Poland
Poland is one of the fastest-growing countries in Europe, with many expats and international schools providing an abundance of camps. Unless there’s a weather abnomaly you won’t get hit with a heatwave like in Spain or Italy, resulting in slightly cooler but still warm weather.
ESTI Camp (Krakow) – Crafts and language-based (either Polish or English) camp at an international school for kids ages 3-10 years old. My kids absolutely loved attending this camp last year and it was a truly international group of kids.
Pines British Forest School (Warsaw) – Nature outdoor camp for kids 5-12 years old in English.
Warsaw Sports Camp (Warsaw) – Tennis, chess, basketball, and field trips for kids 5 and older. The camp is in English and Polish.
Salut Hola (Warsaw) – Language immersion camp in Spanish or French for kids 6-10 years old.
British School of Warsaw – Only selected weeks, but they have camps for 3-8-year-olds in English (they’re sort of hidden, but open to the public – enquire on their social media).
International Day Summer Camps in Switzerland
Most camps in Geneva cater to teens, providing them with an overnight experience. Personally, I can only recommend a few camps, but this list will expand as I find more options.
Intersoccer (Geneva) – Bilingual soccer camp for kids 3-13.
ILL (Geneva) – Themed weekly camp for kids from the age of 3 years old. Some weeks include hiking.
Simply Theater (Geneva & Zurich) – English-speaking theater camp for kids 7+. They have half-day options for kids 5-6 years old. I can vouch for them as we attend their classes during the school year, and it’s every kid’s favorite activity.
English Speaking Summer Camps in Spain
Spain has the largest number of camps, as many Americans either live in Spain these days or head there for vacation. Don’t be afraid of signing your kids up for bilingual camps even if they don’t speak Spanish, as there’s a huge chance that most of the kids speak mainly English.
Boundless Life (Estepona) – Fantastic worldschooling program with a camp for kids and activities for adults, along with a co-working space. They’ll also help you arrange accommodation, so full turnkey service. My kids sampled this camp for two days when we visited our friends and they didn’t want to leave. The location of the school is incredible, right on the beach – it’s everyone’s favorite Boundless location! You can use my code to get $400 off your Boundless experience.
Ibiza Kids Camp (Ibiza) – General sports for spring and summer for kids 4-13 years old. Coaches speak English, Spanish, and Dutch.
IAB Youth Academy (Barcelona) – Musical theater camp entirely in English for kids 6-17 years old.

International Summer Day Camps in Italy
Italy’s summer camps are surely one of the cheapest camps in Europe and are oriented more towards outdoor time.
Smiling International (Ferrara) – Multidisciplinary camp at an IB school for kids 3-14. Friend’s daughter went to this camp and had an amazing experience – her child was amazed by the cafeteria.
Boundless Life (Pistoia) – Fantastic worldschooling program with a camp for kids and activities for adults, along with a co-working space. They’ll also help you arrange accommodation, so full turnkey service.
